Jenny was the kind of person that could live with any kind of weather. Like they said: There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.
She could arrange with any kind of weather and her closet had things for everything.
Of course, when it came to clothes, she preferred dry weather that would fit with her favorite shoes: heels, but if she had to, she could also live with boots.
Jenny had no favorite season. She loved the fall, when every step on the sidewalk was accompanied by cracking noises or the winter and snow, when everything was white. As a child she'd loved running through the pills people had heaped up along the street.
Jenny also liked the springtime and summer, when she'd wake up by sunlight tickling her nose. She wasn't the kind of person who could spend hours lying in the sun doing nothing, though.
Jenny didn't know, whether she liked or disliked rain, but what she knew for sure was that it was just perfect for days when death came into town; like the night her father died, the day after Kate had died …
So why was it sunny outside this diner?
