Yes, we never learned about her mom. The only thing we know is that Jen had her on speed-dial in Hiatus. But it's not clear, if this is something the prop guys made up or if she really is/was still alive.
In my NaNo story she is alive (living in Ohio with her sister) and I've also used Violet before (always as the one giving Jen a hard time - she even ruined her Christmas in season 3/my diary) *g*

Hahahaha that ending was funny. And I know the story was supposed to be angsty, but ever since I read the quote you used at the beginning, I just couldn't see it as angst lol. It was just perfect and amused me to no end XD

Oh, and the title... I have to admit my mind took a happy trip down the gutter at that LOL.
