I am not going to be a consumer for anyone that is running these ads. I already sent a letter to woot and will be doing the same to myspace, google and LJ. Taking money for discriminatory ads is unacceptable.

Just a quick note to say that we did not solicit the "Yes on Prop 8" ads that some of our California readers have been seeing today. They're Google ads, and, unfortunately, we don't see Google ads in advance of their running. We can reject them after the fact, however, and have set that process in motion. Expect to see them disappear.
Yeah, Laughing Squid just posted an entry about it. Scott actually just pulled Google Ads for the next couple of days over it. The fuckers are going around and buying "No On Prop 8" as the AdWords, and then advertising Yes on 8. Sneaky assholes...
