Foolishly, I return.
I'd been here so long, I completely forgot how calm my home can be by comparison. Even between all the emergency chaos, there's a form of therapy that I derive from being there. It's probably the connection I have to my people, my land.
But there is an important reason to continue my stay here, in Desai. I'm looking forward to the meteor shower they've been speaking about on the news. Honestly, I was expecting it to already be going. Will it be as interesting as last time?
