My latest film,
Something's Gotta Give, is now available on DVD and VHS. The luscious
Amanda Peet also stars in it, as does the incredibly talented Diane Keaton (why isn't she here, dammit?!), who won for her work in it a Golden Globe, a Golden Satellite, a National Board of Review award, and was nominated for Oscar, SAG and Broadcast Film Critics. No wonder she's not here; she's busy polishing all of her little statuettes. (I did get a nomination for a Golden Globe, at least) It's a fun film; buy it because you'll want to watch it several times.
Basketball season (regular season, that is) is quickly coming to a close. I always love bringing friends to Lakers game with me, so if you're interested, contact me ASAP. The remaining home (Los Angeles, you know) dates are:
Thursday April 1 (hmm, April Fool's Day. This could be extra fun)
Sunday April 4 (a day game)
Tuesday April 6
Friday April 9
Tuesday April 13
This evening
Mila and I again attended the American Idol show.
John didn't come with us this week; he ran off to Hawaii to gawk at sea slugs and the like. Really, John, slugs over breasts?! *shakes head in dismay* I thought
Adam might come with us, but I didn't hear back from him in time. Maybe next week. It was Motown night, and
Diana, the little blonde 16-year-old, gave a cute performance of "Do You Love Me Now".
Jennifer, she of the magnificent chichis, belted out "Heat Wave", and
Fantasia looked and sounded ubercool singing "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" in a big pimp daddy sweater. And lest you think I was paying attention only to breasts, I also greatly enjoyed
George's "Ain't Too Proud To Beg". Do I sound like a music critic now? I really do love Motown, and most of the performances were quite good. It's a fun little diversion.
