i fell about 3 weeks ago and fractured my right ankle. i ended up having to wear at cast for 2 weeks, and i'm going back to the doctor tomorrow to hopefully get it off for good. i'm praying i get to wear the immobilizer boot again and can start putting weight on it. crutches SUCK. the story is priceless. only things like this happen to me...
i decided to go introduce myself to my cute new neighbor and take him a beer. he was fishing in pond in front of our apartment. i was talking to him as i was walking down the hill, and didn't watch my footing. of course i slipped and fell, and my dress came up and i tumbled down the hill. he saw my panties. devastating! luckily he ran over and helped me, and we had a good laugh. he's quite sweet. and my lack of being home has prompted a few emails from him, wondering if i were ok. he lives below me and could hear me clomping around the apartment. however, so i wouldn't have to deal with the stairs i went to stay with my aunt in madison for the past 2 weeks and have just recently returned to the scene of the crime.
i need to get back to work before i'm broke! i've used all my vacation days and sick days. i don't regret going on vacation though. everyone tells me to save my days, but while i have the opportunity, i enjoy getting away with my friends. i should be back to work in a week, after i fully recover. i'll update soon.
