your love is king, crown you in my heart
today was pretty good. last night too. i watched the kill bills, which i love. came home and began doing a bit of research for the requirements for travel nursing in the United Kingdom, and looking up flats for rent in London. a nice thought i shall continue to follow.
today i went to a MASN meeting, then to an antique show with a friend. on the way there, my best friend who's serving in iraq called. "whats up homegirl" he said first thing, to which i replied "jacobi!" its so great to hear his voice. he got the package i sent him of cds and a letter. he loved it and said i was the best friend, so thoughtful and that my package topped all the others. he loves all the cds and we are once again united in the thing we both love the most: music. i miss that boy like crazy. then i proceeded to purchase at the antique show some bead necklaces, some cranberry glass candlestick holders to match a set of cups i got from my greatgrandmother, and two used books - Golden Apples by Eudora Welty and my prized possession of the day, Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman, with illustrations. This book of poetry is huge and in large print and cost me $20!!!! a happy girl is nichole. then home to eat bbq ribs with my family, watch girly movies on tbs, and listen to stellar music on iTunes.
