I didn't have a chance to tell Theresa about my change in college plans. I'd planned to talk to her at the dance, but there was this big musical number and then Natalia's solo turned into a death scene. I...I can't get that image out of my head. Tres, I've never lied to you. I'm not going to start now.

I pushed myself to get into Stanford and the other schools because...like I said, it was what I thought the perfect kid was supposed to do. There was a time I wanted to go to Oxford just to get away from my parents overprotectiveness.

Things change. I finally realize that what I've been wanting...it's all here. My parents, you, Marcus, you guys are my lifeline, and this is where I am happiest. Besides, as an EMT, I get the chance to really save people. That's the entire reason I want to be a doctor.

You have the chance to get out of here. No more hellmouth, no more spontaneous singing that sometimes leads to burning up. No more vamps. You could get away from all that. Are you sure you wanna stay?

As long as you, your family and my family are here? I want to stay.

Besides, Gabby was never okay with me leaving for school.

Yeah, I told them. They are actually really okay with it.

Because I'm going to be eighteen in a couple of months and as much as I love my parents, one cool thing about college is having my own space?

Marc and I were thinking about renting a house since it's pretty cheap in town. You could even have your own room for your altar and books and stuff.

Seriously, you wanna rent a house? That'd be kind of cool and stuff. You'd really let me have some space to put up my altar and stuff?

The garage will be for Marc's painting. I keep my guitar and stuff in my room. Not like we need a guest room and a lot of houses have an office.

That means I can set up a library for all of our books in there.

If we can find one with a fenced in yard, maybe we can even get a dog.

I wouldn't have to hide my books on demons and magic. You have no idea what I have to do to hide my alter from the 'rents. And they'd be a lot cooler about me staying in town and seeing you than weekend trips to Stanford.
