so on friday at noon i pick up this girl from the airport:
i cant wait! its been very hard to be back here without her. she is the only one for me and it will be great having her here for 3 months. she's looking forward to seeing you all again.

i just watched the USA vs. Mexico friendly soccer match on espn2. it was a great game! in the end the US beat mexico 2 - 0. the US soccer team is actually pretty good. they almost beat italy in the world cup and italy went on to win the cup.
i wish soccer was more popular in the states. its really a great sport. it was funny to see that at this game, which was held in arizona, that the vast majority of the fans at the game were mexican or mexican american and of course were there backing the mexican team.
