sungje & supernova
hello, haven't been flailing in LJ for a long time (is posting birthday wishes also counted as flailing?). i'm alive and i have another new fandom *get bricked*! i seriously didn't plan for this, but i have to admit i have expanded my fandom to k-pop *hides*! yes, i know most of u don't know much about it. but i really really want to introduce my current obsession <33 and today is a perfect day for it since it's KIM SUNG JE's 23rd birthday!!! (well, in Korea he's 24)
most of u might not know him at all, he's one of the lead singers in Korean boyband group called Supernova, in Korean the group name is Choshinsung, while in Japan they are known as Choshinsei, or CSS for short. and i have only known them for less than a month xD
i've been following k-pop since i got BOF/HJL/SS501 fever early this year, but not so intensive. i just watched when i have mood and time for it. around mid October, i changed my mobile internet from flash to smart, and it's unlimited, so i started dl-ing everything myself. i should blame erodut for my new fandom, coz she introduced me to them unpurposely lol. she told me to check out this :
she said the song is nice and T-Nova consisted with 2 groups T-ara & Supernova, both have 6 members, so there are 12 ppl singing and dancing on the stage. i was interested coz i never saw so many members of mix genders group. and i fell in love with the song instantly. i caught glimpsed of some CSS members and found them attractive. so i asked erodut to "teach" me everything about them. and after that, i couldn't stop dl-ing and watching them ^^;;

my basic knowledge on them :
Geonil : is one of the twin rapper with KwangSu, he's the magnae (youngest) and the tallest (he's 187cm!!) of the group. he used to study overseas in England and Germany so he speaks english quite good. Geonil is SungJe's roommate in their dorm. he said he couldn't stand drinking much alcohol but after 3 years sharing room with SungJe, now he's good in drinking (bad bad SungJe!) lol. in Japan he's known as Ken-chan.
YoonHak : is the oldest and the leader of the group. he speaks japanese fluently coz he studied in Japan by scholarship. YoonHak joined the group much later after the others. in Supernova, he's the sub-vocalist. he's also the translator for their Japan activities.
SungJe : is my pretty baby the 2nd oldest of the group, he's also the main vocalist. he used to be the leader of Supernova before YoonHak joined in. he doesn't like horror movies (omg, same with me and Yamapi!) and he's the best drinker in the group.
SungMo : is also one of the main vocalist, his vocal is unique. he had waist injury during the period of their debut in Korea thus he missed a lot of promotions. it was weird to see only 5 members on the stage. and oh, he's 180cm tall which makes him the shortest of the group xD
JiHyuk : is actually the first one i had crush on, coz he was quite focused in TTL and TTL Listen 2 performances. he's very confident with his looks, and all members often teased him about it. in Supernova, he's sub-vocalist and sometimes rap too. and oh, he's a fan of Takahashi Ai (leader of Morning Musume).
KwangSu : is another rapper in the group and the most muscular one. he likes exposing his abs muscles, someone said he could wash his own clothes with his abs lol. he shares room with JiHyuk, and he's a fan of Niigaki Risa (sub-leader Morning Musume). his favorite line is "Oh Yeah!"
i'm still learning about this group. but i can sense they are going to be my number 1 favorite gorup in K-pop fandom. i love their songs, and they seem to be very interesting people. i hope they will gain more popularity coz they deserve it.
