(no subject)
okay this day is getting outta hand. it is the best day of my life. like no kidding hands down best day of my life. i wasnt gonna post anything because i didnt wanna brag and be all o0o0 its the best day of my life.
BUT. the last bit of news i just got made me insane with happiness.
i will bullet point my day. but let me just say that words cant express how happy i am. okay? okay:
-wake up late. why is this good? well its not. but! the fact that the day WAS so good and i even woke up late makes it that much better.
-my hair was cute after i threw it back into a lowpony.
-AND i had my outfit picked out already. thats A GOOD thing if you know me.
-the outfit- fantastic. like. stop you in your tracks. khaki faux-collar jacket with very skinny lite black white and camel striping. white button down. black pants. sweet black pointed slingbacks. it was fabulous.
-the cure sang to me as i drove.
-had a walk-thru at banana with HOS dan, new manager tiffanie, DM james, HOS for banana carl and his manager lacole.
-they have two AMAZING purses their. i could die
-learned alot and made my presence known as the next big thing comin' their way
-wowed them with my merchandising input and asked lotsa questions.
-dan gave me feedback- said i was there for a reason to learn, because i am trying to get promoted. and because he has faith in my abilities.
-walk-thru at gap with DM, my HOS, two of our managers.
-told i was leading the walk-thru 10 minutes prior.
-got necessary info and tons of it
-LEAD the walk-thru.
-how did it go you say? let me tell you the feedback i got. i was:
--informative, strong-voiced, poised, confident, knew the business, knew what drives business, vocal
-words cant express how good it felt to lead it. i have done it before but not for the DM.
-Dan my HOS told me "i have never been more proud of you than i am right now. i want YOU next in that interview seat." etc.
-AMAZING.
-discuss bisexualness of staff with manager heidi
-think my day is gonna go down hill after that but it isnt because i get to hang out with miriam and jenni.
-its payday
-i have 3 days off in a row
-come home to find out MY CAR IS TOTALLED! good?
-YES! i get to get a new car. perhaps even a 57 classic one.
-then i get the best news of all time- i read that bonnaroo info on rachel and kims ljs. i had never heard of it so i check it out.
- i cried.
-radiohead.
