I liked Tyler just fine. But it was a shitty ending to his storyline. The entire season he'd been working up to standing up to Klaus and then they... make Tyler run away from Klaus. It was stupid, and I'm getting tired of them constantly driving a wedge between Caroline and Tyler by sending Tyler away. It's a poor way of writing a romance. But what do you expect. They've been doing the same thing to Elena and the Salvatore for four years.
Don't even me started on Jeremy dude. Like, I'm not going to blame Elena. I know a lot people are doing this karma's a bitch thing about them killing Kol, but this has nothing to do with Karma. I am so pissed they killed Jeremy. And Julie Plec was going on about how the ending will make us tear up, but nothing about the ending made me sad. It just angered me. It was such bad writing that existed merely for shock factor. Shock factor is seriously the worse kind of writing.
and them abruptly finding out that the cure is just for one person? We seriously didn't need to learn about it from three sources. And I have no idea how they're all so shocked either. My first assumption was that it was just for one person. Then last episode they were all making plans about what they'd do with it - and it's like... This cure was made specifically for Silas... why would there be more than one cure? Why. And if you have to raise Silas to get the cure free to shove down Klaus's throat? What the fuck do you plan on doing about Silas? You should've just aborted that mission.
see i just didn't care about any of Tyler's storyline at all this season. so for me i felt like they just dragged him thru the mud doing a whole lot of nothing. at least they'll give screen time to someone else instead of wasting it on him.
