TODAY WAS BEAUTIFUL. Older sister and I went for a long drive with the windows down and just explored. I always miss home when I go away because I feel like I live in the best place ever. Too bad the best place ever doesn't have decent schools or places of employment. Fumphsnsk.
At least I get to go back to Philadelphia in a week or two and wander around Rittenhouse Square and cry with relief because life can only get better now. ♥
We went through a car wash and I thought we were going to die. But it was okay because I had an iced mocha with me that tasted more like white chocolate and raspberry icee than coffee so I would have passed on happy and full of fattening whipped cream.
STRANGE OCCURRENCE - We had a message on our answering machine this morning from someone who dialed the wrong number (and honestly, you'd think they'd know when they heard our last name in the message they'd figure out they went wrong somewhere) and had a number from the DC area code. "HEY JOHN, IT'S JIM OLSON!" and he went into a whole speech about an anti-asshole convention and called the Washington Post the WASHINGTON PUKE. Had a good lawl about that one.
WENT TO WAL*MART - Though this I can never be bothered to do because I am afraid of everyone who frequents the place. Ever since I saw the people chillin' on lawn chairs and drinking sodas from the vending machine. And my uncle scarred me by walking through the EXIT door and claiming he was "fitting in" because "West Virginians can't read!"
... And I bought a DISNEY PRINCESSES coloring book. So you can bet I'm having myself a grand time this weekend. I also bought a set of bubbles that LOOKS LIKE A LIGHT SABER. WOW. ♥
COLLECTING CLIPS - It's taking me all day just to gather clips from various mannequin 5 segments to do EPIC CLASSICAL MUSIC MANNEQUIN 5 - NINO VERSION and every now and then I ask myself why I am doing this and I never have an answer.
