Ivanova was . . . asleep. She had fully intended to do something after class like go out for a drink, or a ride, but she had succumbed to five minutes of 'just close my eyes' that had turned into a full-blown, drool-on-the-pillow nap.

Faith stood in the doorway, smiling at the sleeping form of Ivanova. She slid quietly into the room, and sat on the edge of the bed, gently brushing a stray strand of hair off Ivanova's forehead, and behind her ear.

With a most unladylike kind of snort, Ivanova turned her head, nuzzling into Faith's fingers without quite waking up.

Faith grinned goofily at Ivanova's sleeping form, and stroked the backs of her fingers across Ivanova's cheek. "God, you're so beautiful."

Ivanova yawned, stirring a little. She mumbled something about carpet and nuzzled in again.

Faith's eyes shone with amusement. "Carpet? What about carpet, baby?"

That registered somewhat and Ivanova's eyes fluttered open, glassy with sleep. "Faith?"

Faith smiled and leaned down, kissing Ivanova's forehead lightly. "Last time I checked, baby. Now what's this about carpet?"

Ivanova smacked her mouth a couple of times. "My mouth tastes like it."

Faith chuckled, and stood, crossing to the mini-fridge that had appeared since Ivanova's roommate's arrival. She pulled out a bottle of water and walked back, handing it to Ivanova. "Here baby."

"Thanks." Ivanova sat up and took a long sip, rubbing at her eyes. "Didn't mean to fall asleep."

"It's okay, you looked cute. I almost didn't want to wake you." She reached over and ran her hand down Ivanova's arm.

"Cute?"

[faithfulchosen]

Faith pasted a mock-serious look on her face. "I mean dangerous. You looked very, very dangerous. And scary, too." She smirked, and a smile split her face before long.

"Better." Ivanova yawned and curled around Faith in a completely dangerous and scary manner.

Faith lay down next to her, and curled up with her in a completely frightened manner. She snuggled with Ivanova and nuzzled her neck. "Sleep well?"

"Like the dead," Ivanova confirmed, kissing her cheek. "You know how it is with power naps. Close your eyes and you're out."
