Ivanova was swearing at her bike in Russian. More specifically, she was swearing at that thing that went clickclickclickPOING! that was supposed to go whirrrr. She stomped to her feet, wiping her hands on a rag in disgust.

"I need a drink . . ."

Bella popped into the garage with a crack. She went over to the workbench silently to check to see that her B was in fact there and complete still.

Ivanova recognised that sound and didn't look up. "Hey, Trixie."

Bella made a noise of greeting, she found her discarded nail and walked over to the toolbox. Making a lot of noise digging around she found a wrench. She played with it for a moment before tossing it to the side still digging.

"If you split your thumb open again, I'm not patching you up this time," she said wryly, and kicked the Beastie again. "Chyort!"

Bella continued to dig mumbling under her breath until she located the hammer. She looked at the bench for a moment and the nail, she wanted to smash something, not her thumb again that had been awful. She looked around the garage for something smash. She walked around the beastie and shook her head, she rummaged in a drawer, tossing things out onto the floor as she searched.

Ivanova popped her head up to watch the destruction. "Trix, you better be putting all of that back."

Bella stuck her chin out towards Ivanova and continued to drop things on the floor, she kicked a wayward lightbulb underneath the bench with her foot.

Bella had located a dozen or wires tied with a string before looking up, She had been about to toss those onto the floor too. Her eyebrow raised expectantly at Ivanova before she lowered her head again to continue digging through the drawer.

Ivanova rescued the lightbulb and set it down in its box again before Bella stepped on it and hurt herself. "What the hell are you looking for?"

Bella looked up at her blinking for a moment. "Something..." Her voice was raw as if it had not been used in a long time. She lifted up a pair of pliers and then she had it. A pencil and a pen. She clutched them in her hand and headed over to the workbench that held the hammer.

She laid them carefully on the bench before smacking them with the hammer. The plastic around the pen shattered and ink oozed all over the bench. Bella frowned at it as she picked it up. "Useless thing." She said throwing it down to the floor. Ink was all over her hands. She pushed the pieces of the plastic aside from the pencil and smiled. The lead in the pencil had not broken, it was laying encased in the wood. She held it up to show Ivanova.

Ivanova sighed. "Okay, Trix, wanton destruction of my garage over, what's wrong?"

Bella looked at the smashed pen on the floor and then up at Ivanova. "I like the sound your garage makes." Bella said with a shrug looking down at the pencil trying to dig out the lead. "The sounds in the drawer and the toolbox."

Ivanova rolled her eyes. "Fine. Just . . . clean up when you're done." She turned back to her bike, bemused.

Bella nodded, she found another drawer to rummage in for a few minutes. She was pulling paper out and examining it. Her fingers got black from the carbon paper before she balled it up and walked over to the bike. "What are you doing?"

"Trying to fix this stupid . . . thing," she sighed. "As soon as I figure out what's wrong."
