on bourbon-breath mornings and killing the spring semester...
and so the week that will make or break my semester has begun...
in just a few uncharacteristicly productive days i've managed to both complete my british literature essay and finish The Kite Runner. now all that lays before me is the completion of two short essays for my 4055 class. i'm worried--of course, but i'm coming to grips with the fact that worries won't solve any of my problems. by this week's end, if all goes accordingly, i'll be almost stress free and ready for the approaching summer. i can't wait to return to san antonio. i know i say this with each passing spring, but i feel like now, more than ever, i need to get the hell out of baton rouge. these people are suffocating me. i'm sick of my apartment, my bullshit fraternity and everyone sticking their noses into other people's private matters.
seventeen days until my wish is granted.
other things:
1. i chopped off all of my hair yesterday. its short. really, really short.
2. luau is this weekend and i've thankfully chosen to bring the always hilarious katie lewis along with me. this long awaited trip to the beach might just turn all my negative attitudes around.
3. i'll be living in spain just a little over a month from now...seems impossible.
enough digression. i clearly have nothing to say and plenty to do.
