Blame it on Sunday boredom, but I fancy the idea of another picture post...
This photo, taken in January at Chops, Milledgeville's most ritzy bar, is noteworthy for the astonishing resemblance I bear to my father. To me, it's somewhat haunting. I've devoted a good deal of thought to the idea of fathers and sons as of late. In fact, the stories I write deal with that subject quite often. The young man beside me is Nathan Tucker, one of my closest grad school buddies.
This is Karen McElmurray, my current fiction professor. She's a pretty righteous lady.
And here I am enjoying a cocktail with my inimitable thesis advisor, Allen Gee.
All right. Just thought some of you might like to see some more photos of my not-really-new-anymore life in Georgia. After a productive morning, I've all but completed my major revision for Karen's workshop, rendering me worry free for what's left of the spring semester.
