I went to see the John Butler Trio on Saturday at the Queen Margaret Union. I am now deeply in LOVE with that band. They are amazing. TRUE musicians. They know how to play their instruments expertly, and they have the most beautiful songs. I was not happy with the stupid drunk college kids who were either too drunk to stand up on tehir own, or the ones who needed sippy cups cause they kept spilling their beers all over me! I was literally drenched when I left, I had no less than 3 full cups of beer spilled on my ass, my shoulder and down my front. I was super pissed off. Very nearly ruined the concert for me! However, I was mesmerised when the music was going. Sooooooo fabulous. Just had to pass it on that if nayone can get a copy of any of their CD's, its an investment. Their songs are about love and peace, they were sooo lovely! I cant really even explain how touched I was. :)
