one time, in college,
my taiwanese roomate (peter) and i
decided to make home-made sushi.
so we bought a side of salmon
out of the kroger discout cooler,
and a tube of wasabi paste,
and headed straight home.
only after arriving home did we
consider the reality of what we
were planning to do...
specifically: to eat a half-cooled
strip of raw fish... bought on sale...
purchased at 1am... from a less
than meticulous grocer...
so we put our respective areas
of expertise... biology and theatre...
to good use, and came up with a
solution to this dilema:
we cooked one side of the salmon for safety,
and left the other side raw for sushi.
never underestimate.
never ever underestimate.
