What did you do in 2019 that you've never done before?
Nothing new this year, just more of the same

a new ipad, finally!
What dates in 2019 will remain etched on your memory and why?
A day in July when i made a difficult decision but followed through at work
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Surviving the year at work, without a boss, with increasing workload and still supporting my people
What was your biggest failure?
Not looking after myself, continuing to put on weight
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Lots of stress, backache, problems with eyes
What was the best thing you bought?
lots of books via kindle!
Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Again AS, who did a great job of being the TL in Poland
Where did most of your money go?
Childcare and travel as always!
What did you get really really excited about?
Reading 100 books!
What song will always remind you of 2019?
No one song, but the following Spotify playlists: Blacklist, Suits, Office
Compared to this time last year are you:
a) happier or sadder - happier
b) thinner or fatter - fatter and less healthy

What do you wish you'd done more of?
Run more & played with kids - same as last year!

Same as last year - worried less, eaten less, faffed around online less
How will you be spending Christmas?
we were here in Zurich, had a lovely 2 weeks at home
What was your favourite month of 2019?
October and November - family holiday in Portugal, TEDxZurich, eLN conference, plus time in UK and Belgium
What was your favourite TV programme?
The Crown, Office 3!
What was the best book you read?
So many to choose from, but probably When All is Said: Anne Griffin

I didn't know I wanted it, but I got an Ember mug, which keeps me tea constantly warm!

What was your favourite film of this year?
It was cheesy, but i LOVED "Last Christmas!". Saw it with Kerry, perfect advent film.

I was 46, can't remember how we celebrated!
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
more time for me
What kept you sane?
Alan, many good books, getting more sleep, many many nice cups of tea - same as last year
