Mama Meltdown & Calming Creativity
I had a right royal, foot stamping, no more Mrs Nice Guy today with the boys. I yelled and stomped, which made me feel better for a brief moment, but of course didn't help long term family harmony.
Mr.Ncot and I tag-team quite well, so he took over for a while. everyone retreated to their space. In the meantime I started planning the cake i'm going to make for our tram party. Since we have nearly 80 people coming, I'm making four the same! It took a while to find the right size squares to fit the size of cake - the goldilock size is 5.75 cm squares! And a combination of initials, flags, and tram numbers. I'll do a test run next week, planning on doing a large tray back size sponge, buttercream icing, then fondant shapes pressed on top... wish me luck :-)
After my creativity break, I found I had calmed down, so I apologized to both of them and eventually good humour restored, followed by sofa time, then Markus went out for a sleep over. P, A and I had sushi then played The Mind and Throw, Throw Avocado! (both Christmas presents!)
