3 runs of 3 mins running / 2 mins walking (up to 45 minutes)
long run of 14km (9 miles), which was 1 min running / 1 min walking
Managed 1 gym visit
2 rest days
Generally felt quite tired, but kept going...
The highlight was the ARUK training day, which I attended virtually. Lots of great fundraising ideas and I finally put my distribution list together, emailed and posted on social media (twitter, facebook, linkedin).
Key take aways:
really exciting research being done into Alzheimers
Running is "standing on one leg at speed" (ie work on my balance)
Run gently enough
at end of long run "I could have kept going"
it's enough to do 3 runs, and 1-2 strength sessions
