it took me a moment to figure out where you are! what's Sri Lanka like? (aside from lacking in reliable electricity at the moment!)
i love to travel... okay, sometimes i love to travel, and other times i question my sanity (usually on an excessively long flight or train ride somewhere. while i love traveling, i hate to be cooped up in an enclosed space.)
i've been to Egypt (from Alexandria to Cairo, and lots of places between), Britain (London, Brighton, Bath, Greenwich), Switzerland (don't remember which city), Germany (Munich and others), France (Nice & Paris & Ez (sp?)), & Italy (Venice).
i would like to visit Spain next, though i would have to seriously brush up on my Spanish, i think. it's hard to be somewhere where you don't speak the language. or at least an approximation of it. i feel it imposes upon the local populace to expect them to speak your language. i like to at least be able to say a few things. i was once conversationally fluent in Spanish, but haven't spoken it in something like five years (sadly).
anyway. => i don't know what started all this blather in reply to your comment. i must be having a verbose day. i suppose it is the urge to travel. some artist friends are in Japan right now, and another is in Mongolia. i suppose that makes me want to go somewhere.
