i've been feeling like drawing a lot lately. i drew this super-boss random thing when i was hanging out with nick and kassie from work at the 'drum circle house' (this house in the joslyn castle neighbourhood where people just chill and jam...in a drum circle, with the occasional guitar or keyboard thrown in) last saturday. i'll eventually get round to scanning that in, as well as some other things.
harry potter was amazeballs. i especially loved how they did the tale of the three brothers. so. much. love. tim kasher was similarly amazeballs. again, so. much. love.
speaking of tim kasher, slowdown virginia are getting back together and doing a show on the 23rd of december at the slowdown (which was named after the band) with polecat opening. i am tres excited for that..! it's like it's the early 90s in omaha all over again! i approve of such trips to the past. for the time being, i'm pretty sure i'm staying up here for christmas, but we'll see how it all shakes out. i'm going home for thanksgiving, though, so i'll get at least one holiday in with the family (and it's for the whole weekend at that - leaving wednesday night after work and i'll get back sometime sunday).
and i'm tired now.
