(no subject)
Pretty good day, after chatting with Jess, which although just half an hour or whatever, was nice, and glad she was as excited to talk to me as I was to talk to her, so that was nice.. She told me "I'm planning on posting photos later...' And it's obvious why she was telling me, and I said "Ooooh, photos! I kinda like photos' and she said 'lol, really?! I had no idea' and I was like 'yeah, I don't let many people know that...' she thought that was pretty funny. That's something we'd always do with each other, joking about the obvious, so was nice to do it today... We've joked about me with music (as I am a music manager...) like she asked me to put a CD of her's back in the case and I said "I don't know, that's sounds very difficult' and she's laughing and I was like 'how's this go in there?' and she was like 'well glad you don't work somewhere where you need to know about CDs!" Then she was joking about how she likes to quote movies and was like 'I kinda like to quote.. not sure if you know that' and was like 'oh really? no, no I never ever noticed that like every other word out of your mouth was a quote'. And many other examples...
So anyway, after chatting with Jess.. lol this is what I was gonna talk about, went to meet up with Chad at B&N at noon to go take photos at a local park/riverwalk. I left at 11:20 to get gas, then was about 10 min. away at 11:40 when I was a stoplight and got a text from him saying "CRAP! I just woke up! Can we meet right at the park at 12:30?!" so I responded at the next light, and as I was trying to make my way onto a different road to get to the park easier and told him that was fine. So I took a bunch of photos before he got there, he said at 12:20 he was on his way, which he's like less than 10 min away, then at 12:40 he texted me and said he forgot he needed gas and had to run to the bank first! lol, so he made it about 1pm and was very apologetic, it was cool though.
Took photos of him at the tennis court, playing tennis with himself.. Going to edit them together, and when I take make try to blend others in also...
Then, and this is on my website already, there is this 'historic bandshell' there, and I've walked by before while plays have been put on, and I said 'Hey Chad... Could I get you to go on stage? Put on a one man show?" and I really wasn't sure what I'd have him do, but he was like 'Sure! I could lay there dead. Then get up and kneel in front of where I was, then I can stand off to the side, pointing accusingly at my kneeling self. I have no idea how he came up with that SO FAST.... So we did it! We did some more shots, we got him sitting on a bench, in all five spots, I posted the rough-edit on facebook. Gotta do a lot more work to make it look really good though, before I put it on my website...
We got talking about Ashley, once again.. It's just because everyone is so confused by the whole situation, everyone figured with how she acted towards me, from the little they knew, and more from what I said now, that she did at least know about my feelings now, let alone everything before she left... And Chad would know better than anyone, he spent the day with us back in May in Chicago. Or wait, that was me and Chad going to Conan, so it was Ashley who spent the day with us. But I had texted him that she seemed like maybe she's getting a clue now, and he asked what she said, and I told him and he's like that's better, but that I still better watch myself, because if she does have and issues, or doubts, or whatever, if I don't distance myself now, she'll tell me first, and make it much more confusing....
Anyway, so he had to get to work at 3pm, so we only spent about an hour, then he went home to eat and get ready for work. Then I stopped by B&N real quick to ask Jared if he could still help me, when he got off at 3pm, and he's like 'Today?! I thought it was tomorrow?!" and I said "No, today, thursday..' and he said 'today is we... OHH... Crap!' so no, he couldn't! lol, that's okay. So we're going to try sometime next week.
Then came home and did a bit of the editing of the bench photo, then I went to potato creek with my lab and went for a walk... Came home, did more editing! (the 'one man show' photo!)
