[Spirit/Air] Tribes 11: Otter
The Otter tribe is the primary producer of the Water tribes, consisting of fisherfolk, hunters of small game and sailors. There are two major groupings of Otters, corresponding to river otters and sea otters, though the differences between the two are few and mostly related to location and appearance.
The Otters are extremely territorial, and rarely make contact with anyone outside of the residents of Vanaheim, but if you manage to be accepted and adopted into the kin-groups, you will find yourself gifted with a family in truth - one that will rarely leave you alone!
They are extremely social in their own groups, doing pretty much everything as a pack. Indeed, most of the otters are somewhat telepathic, enabling the whole group to act as one; their rapid-fire and constant chattering helps as well.
The lesson of the Otters is Joy - the deep and satisfying emotion that comes from a life well-lived, a job well-done, and copious amounts of time spent in play and rejuvenation.
