I discussed Kira a bit in a comment to wheatear the other day, but I think Kira's intuition makes sense given her life so far. Little children tend to have good intuition anyhow, having not been essentially taught out of listening to it yet (by adults who "know better"), and a kid like Kira has obviously had a different sort of childhood than the average kid. Sarah listens to her when she says things, which only encourages her to listen to that intuition, and I think what we've seen of Siobhan lends itself to encouraging Kira to trust her gut.
It's the same idea as asking a little kid if the dress you're wearing makes you look pretty. That little kid will tell you the truth because they haven't yet learned how to lie to spare your feelings or whatever - and because it also doesn't occur to them that telling the truth could hurt your feelings.
Of course, I could be wrong. I usually am when it comes to predicting television shows. :P
I am still watching TVD, but I don't have any ~thoughts about it. (I miss Katherine.) But I can do a meme for it!
