Wow. This part may have melted my brain a little bit and I don't even care.

Every time Puck has a session with Dr. Berry and actually opens up about something I fall more and more in love with this story. I love the way he's opening up to him very slowly and the way he mostly feels comfortable with him, even though it's hard for him to talk about the important stuff sometimes. When he talked about Quinn for the first time by name and about why he did what he did to land in juvie my heart completely broke for him. It makes a lot of sense and completely matches up to why I think he did it on the show even though they never explored that.

His relationship with Rachel is so sweet. Standing up for her when she got slushied and helping clean her up melted me. And the apology was perfect. I love how he's constantly distracted by her necklaces, nice little detail to throw in there. And whenever they kiss... well of course that's awesome.

I can't wait to see what happens when Dr. Berry finds out that he's been spending time with and making out with Rachel. Although I have to say that I think he must already know because surely Rachel would have mentioned it, right? Even to say where she was going when she was tutoring him? Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see.

You're cute.

Writing Puck with Dr. Berry was one of my favorite things in this story, because that's where we really get to know this version of him, and it's also where he learns about himself. The forced introspection aspect of it made for an interesting internal dynamic that I didn't really anticipate, but liked writing a lot.

Thanks for reading, darling! ♥
