Chapter 9
Lovers…… A simple term that caused Jaejoong’s heart to thump at the rate that he had never experience before.
He had thought over many kinds of responses Yunho will give him, but he never expected this. Everything just went narrow from his plan.
He did not know what he should do. He went blank until Yunho called his name again.
Jaejoong shook his head and pushed Yunho hardly away from him.
“No. Never. You and I, there’s only hatred. Goodbye, Mr Jung.” Jaejoong said without any emotion as he got up from the bed and then left the room, leaving Yunho who was frowned over Jaejoong’s action, because he believed that he did saw the sparks in Jaejoong’s eyes when he mentioned ‘lovers’. He was quite convinced that Jaejoong has at least a bit feeling for him, not as brothers, but as someone he likes.
He smirked, “No, Jaejoong. Hatred means love too. Aren’t this people’s sayings?”

“Jaejoong, are you okay? You looked so pale. Shouldn’t you be resting at Mr Jung’s room now?” Mr Bae showed his concern when he saw Jaejoong back at the office. At the same time, he was still trying to guess the what had happened between him and their boss. It seemed like they have some sort of relationship.
Jaejoong shook his head slightly and slowly shifted to his seat and started packing up his stuffs.
“Mr Bae, I need to resign. I will pass you my resignation letter early tomorrow morning.” He said as he packed. He felt messy right now and everything was out of his control. He did not know what to do but he knew that he had to leave. Leave this place, and far away from Jung Yunho.
“Thank you for all your help during my employment here, Mr Bae. It was great working under you. I have to leave now.” He bowed to Mr Bae before he left.
“Ah, Jaejoong ah~~” Jaejoong had disappeared from the sight before he could speak up anything.
Shaking his head, his thought was that youngster nowadays is so unpredictable. It would be better for him to just stay out of all the matters.

“Damn it!” Yunho banged his palm on the table as he saw the resignation letter on his table.
His secretary was shocked at his anger, since he had never show his anger at work, not even at him when he did things wrong. She had always thought of him as a very kind boss, although he appeared to be cold and distant all the time.
“Ask Mr Bae to see me right now!” The angry man once again banged on the table.
“Yes… yes sir.” She stuttered as she hurriedly went out of the room to call for Mr Bae.
The secretary was so glad that Mr Bae had came up as soon as possible, “Mr Bae, Mr Jung wanted to see you, so you better go in faster, but please be aware. He is in rage now. I’ve never see him like this before.”
Swallowing his saliva, Mr Bae prepared himself as he knocked and opened the door, revealing the angered man who was gripping hard on a letter. Without any guess, he knew that it was because of Kim Jaejoong.
“Sir, is there anything that I can help you?” He tried to ask as calmly as he could, although he was a bit frightened.
Throwing sharp gazes on Mr Bae, “What is this? Can you tell me what this is? How can you let him leave?”
“I… I…” He did not know how to respond.
“What?” The voice was two times lower than just now.
Closing his eyes, Mr Bae thought that it was better for him to say everything in one go without looking at Yunho, “Jaejoong did not say anything, he just left the letter on my table. That’s all, Mr Jung!”
“How dare he tried to escape from me the second time?” Yunho was not able to control his anger as he remembered how Jaejoong has escaped with his mother before.
He would never allow the same thing to happen again.
“Mr Bae, you may leave now.” He calmed himself down, as he watched Mr Bae speedily leave his room.
Holding on his fists, he told himself to control his rage as he had been able to manage his anger throughout the years of managing the company, even though tough things happen.
It just made him realized that he wanted Kim Jaejoong so much. And this feeling might have already developed long time ago when they still lived together, and when he threatened him to be his pet.
“Jung Yunho, you are such a failure.” He scoffed at himself.
Something clicked in his mind as he took out his phone and dialed a number.
After the call was hanged up, he took his car key and left his office. Kim Jaejoong could escape, but he could just look for him. This time, he would not be able to succeed in escaping.
As there was a saying, people in love were always irrational and blind.
Jung Yunho was not an exceptional.

After submitting his resignation letter, Jaejoong had nowhere to go but to head to the hospital which his mother’s was staying. He had moved out from the apartment to avoid Yunho. What he had lost count was that he did not remembered that he had once brought Yunho to visit his mother. He was too bothered with the whole situation that he could not really think properly.
As usual, he reached Ji Shin’s room but to find that someone else was sleeping on the bed, and not his mother. A sudden fear rose inside his heart, Ji Shin was his only relative in the world, he could not lost his mother.
He rushed to the receptionist and asked the nurse, but the nurse refused to tell him anything except for assuring him that his mother was safe and totally fine.
“No, why wouldn’t you tell me? He is my mother. I have the right to know.” Jaejoong was nearly hysterical as everything seemed to go wrong.
“Jaejoong!”
He turned his head and looked at the guy who was calling his name.
He ran towards that man and grabbed on the taller man’s collar, “It was you, right? Where did you hide my mother? Where? I want him back. Tell me where is him! Please, I beg you, please.”
Tears started rolling in his eyes as his face was flushed red.
Yunho embraced the weaker man tightly, as he patted his back gently.
“It’s okay Jaejoong. I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. I have asked them to move your mother to a better room. I’m sorry, Jaejoong. I just want you to stay. I just… don’t want you to leave me. I’m sorry, Jaejoong. Please forgive me.”
But it seemed like Jaejoong was not listening to him, as he was still murmuring, “Please give my mother back. Please.”
Yunho felt something wrong and pulled him out from his embrace, but to see that Jaejoong was staring blankly while murmuring the same words again and again.
“Jaejoong, are you okay? Jaejoong.” Yunho asked worriedly as he gently shook the shorter man.
The next second, Jaejoong rolled his eyes and fainted. Yunho quickly grabbed hold of him and called the doctor.

Looking at the pale but yet still beautiful face, Yunho felt regret for what he had done. He should have knew that Jaejoong precious his mother so much that he could not bear it if anything happens to him.
He was such a fool for causing Jaejoong to faint, causing him to get emotionally exhausted. He was just doing the same thing he did three years ago.
Holding on the cold hand, Yunho prayed in heart that Jaejoong would forgive him for what he did when he woke up.
He swore to himself that he would never do anything to hurt him anymore. Never again.
