Having meetings regarding all the various metrics we take for our teams and how difficult it is to get all the numbers people want to know what's going on is very saddening. You'd think that we're an IT company and could do this sort of stuff easily, but not so much.
Sometimes I wonder if rather than advancing my career I'd be happier sitting around doing the exact same thing for 30+ more years.
