Ben seems to be changing superfast now that he's four.
First, this weekend he finally put all the pieces together for swimming and went from "refused to try to float" to "full on swimming". Now he puts his head underwater, blows bubbles out his nose, and kicks and does his scoops all at the same time.
And last night, we pulled out Where The Sidewalk Ends. I tried it with him a year ago or so and he just wasn't interested. Last night he couldn't get enough of it - so far his favorite poem is Ickle Me Pickle Me Tickle Me Too, and he likes that one so much he wants to read it himself. I can't wait until we get to Peanut Butter Sandwich.
Maggie is also growing up fast. She scoots around pretty well on her blanket and it's only a matter of time before she's full-fledged crawling. She didn't like trying solids, though, and now she's a lot less eager to grab at our food 'cause she knows it tastes icky.
