Well that's the first week of lectures over, and quite good for the fact that most of my tutorials don't start till week three. Fantastic Wednesday for there was Bayness, Bowling, Johnny Depp singing and of course the long awaited Janto kiss in Torchwood! YAY!
So Sweeney Todd. Such brilliant awesomeness as has rarely been seen. I am almost tempted to say that Alan Rickman and Johnny Depp singing a duet is one of the finest moments in musical history. Its certainly damn close.
A fantastic film, the only downside being when the name "Tippy Chair of DOOM" came to mind in the middle of the film, meaning that the sight of said chair made me laugh rather a lot.
It raised an interesting question in my mind (probably only interesting in my mind too) which is how many movie musicals have an 18 certificate? Personally I can only think of Satuday Night Fever. Anyone else think of any?
Is it wrong to be jealous of razors? Probably. However, the Depp singing to them in My Friends - scrape me off the floor!
Well anyway, a couple of icons came to mind whilst watching, so I share them with you.
And also a couple of variations on a House icon that has been buzzing in my mind for a while.
