So, Beacon has a staph infection in her skin. She's back on antibiotics, maybe the course just wasn't long enough last time. We gave her a medicated shampoo yesterday which didn't make her very happy and now I have antibiotic lotion to rub on her itchy bits.
The writing is going slowly. I'm kind of bored with it now. I'm more than halfway done, but since I chose to do a non-fiction this year I don't feel like I'm being as fun and creative as last year. I really enjoyed making characters up and coming up with a plot, but I knew I wouldn't have time for that this year. I'm still pretty satisfied with my work, I just don't feel my imagination being used.
It is snowing again. Probably not sticking, but I still hate it.
I e-mailed the chair of the program I'm looking at today. Apparently she has the same specialty as I'm looking at, so I was told we will be 'besties.' I have some questions for her about the bachelors vs the masters. Hopefully she can help my decision to be more educated. Not that I'll even get to be in the program for probably a couple years.
I gave up soda a month ago and with the dry weather my throat is missing it more now than ever. How I long for a crisp Canada Dry ginger ale. Instead, I've been drinking a lot of water with some orange juice from time to time.
Okay, it's a boring day off with my word processor and the endless novel. Talk to ya'll in a few days.
