did ya miss me?
my laptop is being retarded, again! i don't know what the problem is, but this is the second time i have to replace the cord. i'm really careful with it, but after a few months, the cord stops working and i have to put the laptop on my head and circle three times and not breathe for it to stay plugged in. in other news my replacement cell phone is having similar issues, so i need to see if i can get that switched again too. anyway, my laptop has been dead, and that is why i haven't been able to check in on ya'll. this month may take even more of my time away from you, because i think i decided to do nanowrimo after all. it's not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. last year i finished in less than 20 days, writing only a couple hours a day. with my schedule the way it is this year though, that may be slightly more difficult.
so girl and i went out with another couple for halloween on friday night. it was a rushed day, i went through three outfit changes including 3 bras and 3 hair styles. first i was worker girl, i had to go play petnurse all day and then got out a couple hours early to run home and change into big sister girl. i had to find an outfit for hanging out with two 12 year olds and not embarrassing them as i took them to decorate cookies and then to spooky science at the sciencenter. i dropped said girls off at their halloween dance and ran home to hop in the shower, dress myself as little red riding hood, do my make-up and hair in pony tails and then get girl in her costume and do her make-up. we ended up leaving around 9:30 and first met our friends at this lounge for drinks, but not much was happening there, so we jetted off to the dance club. it was fun and the costumes were excellent, but the dj kinda sucked so we only danced for like half an hour and left around 1. in ithaca, last call is at 1, isn't that ridiculous? anyway got to bed around 2:30 and up again at 7 for work. UGH!
other than that, we're already busily planning our trip to st. kitts in may. and looking for job opportunities. saturday we attend an open house at syracuse university for continuing education. should prove interesting.
