Hey peeps,
Thanks for hanging in while I was without a computer. I absolutely detest writing on a phone, whether it be an lj post, e-mail, or long text messages, I find it uber annoying. As I wrote that my handy new laptop just switched screens and I had to retype half of it which I find just as annoying. Girl's tax refund finally came in from last year and we both were in need of new laptops, hers for work purposes, mine just for entertainment value, so I couldn't justify the expense, but as she mentioned at this point it was kind of like found money since we weren't relying on it and had no idea when it was going to clear. I hate working on a computer that isn't mine and not having assess to my pictures and documents, so I don't like to work on girl's computer. This one came with windows 8 which is going to take a little getting used to, but is awesome as far as customization. The only problem I've run into already is that my mouse keeps freezing, it's happened like five times in the limited minutes that I've been playing on it. Very strange.
Anyway, just glad to be back. It's weird to be catching up on my sites on a computer rather than my iphone, which thank God I have. I can't imagine what it would have been like having no computer and still being stuck with my blackberry all that time. *Shutter*
