I've been filling my days with the most random assortment of activities. This is the latest:
Reading- currently the novel "Germ" by Robert Liparulo in which Ebola is being used as a bioweapon and has been altered to target the DNA of 10,000 individuals. Everyone else who comes in contact with the disease gets cold-like symptoms, but the 10,000 men, women and children on the list die undescribable deaths. There are assassins out to get anybody who catches on to the plan. Fairly graphic read, but full of action.
Needlepoint - currently have two bibs going for two co-workers who have new babies or are about to have new babies.
Knitting- an oversized superwarm scarf for my girl.
Soapstone carving - I have NO idea why this interests me. When I was little my best friend and I would sit and carve soap into hearts and such and thought it was so relaxing, so I asked for a kit for x-mas and got one with a ton of animals to make. So far I've made a dolphin, maybe I'll work on another animal today.
Grey's Anatomy- OBSESSED!! I had only seen two episodes and got the first two seasons for x-mas and we can't stop ourselves.
Netflix - when we aren't busy with Grey's.
Music - New favs: Snow Patrol, Lily Allen. Reunited with: Train, Jessica Andrews, Five for Fighting. Still loving: Evanescence, Saving Jane, KT Tunstall, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jack Johnson.
Eating at The Rose - omg the best wings, prime rib, salad bar, fried cheesecake and hot fudge around
Movies - Children of Men, Freedom Writers next week, Night at the Museum
All I care to share for now.
