I know I post something similar every year, but I feel very strongly about it
Today is World AIDS Day. Almost forty million men, women, and children are battling this devastating disease. Think of them, not only today, but every day. Recognized how blessed you are to be healthy and consider donating your time or money to the cause. A man with cancer and HIV is now virus-free after a stem-cell transplant. Though this case is rare, it provides hope that we are close to finding a cure. AIDS was first recognized the year I was born, but someday I will know a world without it. One day the 'bête noire' will be a terror of the past, today is not that day. ♥
