1. What's the longest you’ve stood (or slept) in line for something? When I started at Cornell there was a big to-do called "the grand course exchange." Let me tell you, it wasn't all that grand. This is where you had to go if you needed to sign up for or drop a class. It was supposed to start at like 9 a.m. I got there at 7:30 and the line was already around the back of the building. By the time they started letting people in, it wrapped completely around the building and stretched on for several more blocks. By the time I got in, maybe 5 hrs later, none of the classes I needed were available, so I had to sign up on wait lists. They did away with this "grand" event the second semester and switched everything over to online sign ups, thankfully!
2. Everyone has a home remedy for hiccups. What’s yours? To help other people, ask them what they ate that day (grocery list...) being specific. Even if they know you're doing it, getting their mind to focus on something else seems to help. Works on girl all the time. The first time I asked her to tell me everything she ate, she thought I was crazy, when she said 'salad,' I'd ask what was in it so she'd really have to think. Something else that helped me recently was someone else's remedy, eating about a tablespoon of peanut butter. Worked well.
3. What’s your least-favorite commercial right now? Political campaigns recently. Probably the diaper commercial with the cartoon babies trying to fill their diapers for perfect 10s.
4. When you were in high school, what time did the school day begin? 8 a.m.
