Day 1
Ah, Nano's first day done, 5016 words and I didn't break anything or kill anyone off yet. Just a few hours of writing very casually and now I don't have to write for a couple days if I don't want to. Not my best output ever, I've done 18k before, but I'm not yet attached to my characters. I only have a tentative plan for the next couple chapters and then I'm winging it. Should probably start thinking about how I'm going to make my hard-ass character do an about face and start caring about someone besides herself. Hate it when my characters are out of control...especially when I'm only on the second chapter.
Off to watch Monsters vs. Aliens, then maybe Adventureland and I Love You, Man.
