Brains, part II.
It's been so long without anything happening that now it seems like everything is moving really fast, all of a sudden.
My appointment with the neurologist went really well yesterday. That guy is awesome. He's funny and has a sense of humor, and is really into art, design, and culture.
Because I have no insurance, he's getting Biogen to pay for all of my medication, and Providence to pay for my doctor visits, including specialists and tests. He just made it happen in a matter of minutes. He just told his assistant that he had a patient that was actively sick now and they needed to expedite everything right away.
It pisses me off a little to know that those guys have that kind of power, and nobody else has cared to exercise that over the past eight years.
So, I have two MRIs scheduled for brain and c-spine on Sunday already, and a permanent neurologist who is important and badass, and lots of valuable and stabby medication on the way indefinitely. I seriously feel like I could cry, I'm so happy.
