like i said, this is a book that came along at the right time.
...and one day when you expect to ache, the ache will be gone. i found that tonight. four fucking years and i think i am ok now. i pray your heart heals faster than mine.
funny that, at the yaz(oo) show, i had the clearest image of shitbird's smile. the one where he was really happy, beaming. like he would have been at this show.
but they played one of "those" songs, and i didn't cry. that means we do heal. it just takes half an eternity.
