i only know 2 homosexual persons irl, and i don't even know them personally. people in my country are very conservative because of religion, and that's why there's basically no one here dare to admit their homosexuality. actually, we only know they're exist around us just because of rumours! people here are very into stereotyping about gays (not lesbians though) and wow if you're a boy and using vneck here, people will judge you, hard.

tbh, after i find Kpop & yaoi fics, my view to LGBT is better now. i'm not homophobic as i used to be, but sadly my surroundings are still like that. i have to still silently reading yaoi or people will find me weird >,> for asians it's still hard to open up about our real self irl..

yes you're right, manga/fics are easier to take because we sometimes consider them not real. i wonder if it makes us kind of hypocrites, though. what happened if oppa really like namja? all hell broke loose right? it's confusing >< i feel like i'm doing wrong things some times because of this feelings. we can not ignore our inner heart's voice.

it's ok, i love to discuss/argue with people! we can enrich our knowledge. as long as we're being polite and not act ignorant, it's ok to talk about sesible subjects :)

ya true! here in france it's now a litle bit more safe for homosexual people (girl or boy) to show off of their relationship publicly so at least they can be with the one they love more freely than in asia! but there is still some issues between their family and society that don't accept them but other will! here we have gay around us but people will always make fun of them behind their back and i think it's really bad. i can't accept homosexuality because of my religion but it's not a reason for me to be cruel to them... i really like my friends who are gay because they are nice so just because they are homosexual i will not change my comportment around them!

i totally understand you i think my surrending will find me weird too if they know i read yaoi and to top that k-pop yaoi! sometime i think i'm just crazy for reading it but i just find the stories quite good and nice and with the kpop idole i could put some faces on the caracthere that you created on your fics. that's why i like reading them ^^ at the beginning i will only read boy/girl fanfics but when i start reading boy/boy manly with super junior i can't stop reading them now! :-p call me crazy but it's true ^^

now even in dramas and films their are putting some "yaoi" stuff because they now people watch it and like it! like in "coffee prince" when the actor think he is gay because of the girl that live like a boy or "hana kimi" or the shocking "antic bakery" where the boys even kiss on screen! they are many like this... and even in india they are doing stuff like that in their bollywoods films ...

we will see what will happen but if one of kpop idole is really homosexual they will be a lot of problem for them for their career as a singer or actor but i think personaly i won't mind because it's their life so they do as they want and mayby because i grow up in france i have more of an open mind and we already know famous homosexual couple in america and england but true to be told asia have long way to go before even thinking of being in relationship with the same gender and making it public that is.
