Nytetyger Rocks
So, I was talking with nytetyger last week, interrupting her very important research with a lot of inane and bothersome comments and questions, idle talk and bits of complaints, and occasionally work talk.
I mentioned at some point that I would love to have an eBook reader like Sony or Amazon's Kindle and then mentioned that I had a creaky old PDA that never really did what I wanted it to do. I also mentioned that the software I had was in Chicago and not accessible online.
She, very lovely and wonderful person that she is, proved me wrong.
The next day I loaded the software and drivers on my computer at work and added the ebook reader software. The software that came bundled with the original item --- which I bought in 2003 --- included the ebook reader, but it was always crashing and making a mess of the pda and eventually I lost everything. Well, with the new innovations of today, the software works beautifully.... so now I have an ebook reader.
What makes this TONS more FUN is now I can read the tale that is being written by morningstar4. YAY! I will catch up! I have already read more than I have previously. The problem with being so far behind is that the orginals are now long gone and any advice I would have for those chapters probably long-since fixed.
We will see. She improves every time she adds more. GO DAWN!
