Forgot that I get to torture you all through livejournal- namely, suggesting you all to read my self-centered raving. Baddabing.
"Hey! She's back!"
"Darn right!"
"So, how'd it go?"
"Well, it goes along the lines of... I am the most fantastic thing ever."
"Yes, we knew this- but how did it go?"
"Veeery well, in so far as I can tell~ ♪♫!"
I. KICKED. BUTT.
It shouldn't be hard to tell which one was me. Oh, dialogue is so satisfying, don'tcha know? Alright, so callbacks haven't happened yet, but considering the dropped jaws and "woooahs" I got from one of the directors during one of the monologues, I am going to guess that I did well. Either way, whatever happened was enjoyable, and that's what really matters. Here's to hoping that I'll be hearing from those folks to see about if I got a part or not.
Even if I do get accepted, I still might have to decline for the sake of my physical well-being. The play dates are April , and the Anizona convention [complete with the panels I am co-running]goes from April 9th through April 12th. So, we'll see what happens- making sure I have enough vigor to manage both on top of class work is something important. We'll see where it goes, but either way the next couple of weeks look like they will be a huge amount of fun.
The Murder Mystery panels I am doing... I still need to finish up the character profiles and all of that, as well as pull together the loose outline for our relatively pointless script. Gotta hand those in tomorrow, but that's more tedious grunt work than anything difficult. I also get to toy with what I want to wear as the physical manifestation of time. Might go for my lady tuxedo, but we'll see where that goes- I have three days, nothing wrong with dressing up for each!
Erm. Yes. Got a handful of character sheets to fill out, and a brief plot synopsis. Possibly the memorization of a pair of two-page monologues. Not including an essay. It's a to-do list, one that should only take four hours if we exclude all the distractions in between each. That's for tomorrow. Well, I guess I could leave the essay for Monday, but c'mon. With Monday off, loafing sounds like such a nice prospect. It really does, especially since I'll be out early Sunday, and come home late that evening evening.
Brah. Brah. Brah. I'll get it all done, it's easy, especially when there's so much to look forward to!
PS: Kat, I will for srs do that meme, since you... coughed so nicely about it, but probably not until Monday or so. n_n Fair enough?
