Wow.

Tonight was the opening night of Fiddler. It went much, much better than I expected. Everyone was really excited and the cast, crew and pit did a fabulous job. The after party had good food.

Of course, I got home at 10:30 with a bunch of CAPA I couldn't do due at 11:00, but I tried my best. I didn't even bother taking off my making first (which is why I'm here vaguely resembling a creepy-ass china doll) because I needed time, but I still only finished 3 problems. Oh well. that reflects all of my classes/class work. Munn was telling me that she and quite a few of the other teachers have noticed a drastic drop in the play members' grades. I know that applies to me, which is why part of me will be relieved at the end of next week. I mean, I really, really enjoy play. I like the dancing and the singing, I talk to so many people I would never talk to otherwise, and I get to wear a really funny outfit, but it's so stressful to have this much time taken out of my life. My homework gets pushed back in my schedule and often not completed, and given that it's the second semester of my junior year I need to be on top of that. Plus my social life outside of the musical now exists solely on Friday and Saturday.

Once again, oh well. I'll just have to finish the year with nice, strong grades. In the mean time, I'm still very pleased with Fiddler.
