The Basics
What do I call you?: Katy, Kat, Kay, Katrina, Niamy. Any nicknames are fine, really XD
How old are you?: 18.
Where are you from?: England, Buckinghamshire (that's near-ish London!)
What are you actually like?: I pride myself on being highly optimistic type of person. I think having a positive outlook is just the most important thing. I'm quite nerdy, this refers to my unhealthy obsession with the world of fiction and my keen-ness at school. I just really enjoy learning, and I hope to do History at University! Online I'm surprisingly shy, in real life I am quiet when I meet somebody first but once I know them I'm incredibly talkative. I have a tendency to skip around and sing a lot. Sometimes this is quiet singing to myself (get strange looks) other times it is loud and obnoxious xD Right, I think that's me in a nutshell, nice to meetcha!
So what's in this journal?: My journal consists of mostly summaries of things that have happened lately, followed by current anime/games/TV I've been watching and my opinions of them. Can contain large amounts of fangirling and shipping. I also make a lot of lists of my favourite things (see bottom) and occupationally do very long fanart picspams. Fun times!
What type of characters do you like?: I'm sure nobody needs to know this but I feel like describing it anyway. I like tsundere or just bitchy guys, jackass troll guys, them cheerful and energetic "genki" girls and chicks with issues who kill people. Camp characters are sometimes my thing too, it depends. Generally I'm not a fan of shy blushy characters, but there are exceptions.
Main Fandoms
Hetalia: My main fandom at the moment. I got into this just to see what all the fuss was about. Good decision. Hetalia is great because it combines my love of anime, slash and History. I never thought I'd end up as into it as I am now.
Higurashi: I watched this series after getting into Yandere characters. Definitely a good idea! I loved this anime for for many reasons; the characters, the mystery, the violence and the craziness. Pretty much one of my favourite things ever XD
Yu-gi-oh!: Was a fandom that died for me until I got into Thiefshipping and the Abridged Series and my love of this series was resurrected. As dull as the card games can get, I adore the characters in this show.
Durarara!!: This is the thing I'm least embarrassed about being into, haha. I love Durarara because it combines amazing characters and amazing plot. Also, Izaya.
Lost: I am still watching this, though I've seen series 6 so I know the ending XD I used to be really dismissive of Lost until I actually started watching it with my mum and fell in love with everything about it.
