So my brother convinced me to start playing Team Fortress 2 and it's kind of good so I'm downloading it. I announce this on Facebook and instantly get called a nerd. LOLOLOL.Though I also got 2 likes. SO. If anyone is on Steam they should add me, I'm niamytak.

Hmmm, beliefs. I don't believe in many things, really. Icon is relevant because I BELIEVE in fanfiction. So, let's seeeeeee...
Well, I believe in people. I don't care what wrong I see, I am convinced that people are essentially good, and many are simply victims of their upbringing or circumstances or whatever. I mostly got this view from watching too many cheesy shows, but I am sure that it's true. I believe people can choose to do good things simply to help others. I am positive that nobody is deliberately mean or vindictive. Most people turn out okay once you get to know them. And this is coming from somebody who used to get buckets of bullying. Of course, there are some awful people but er, I think most of them probably honestly don't realise what they do is wrong. I really hope I don't lose faith in this idea, but I guess I may well end up very cynical.
Religion-wise, I honestly don't believe in any of it. Sometimes I think it would be nice to, but most of the time I'm glad as hell I don't. Some of my friends who are religious always seem so quick to condemn of judge. And one is always worried she's going to hell. Of course, not all religion is like this, there are lots of nice ways of interpreting all the different teachings. But idk, it seems to cause more hate than love over history. And anyway, I can't believe in it anyway. I was never brought up religious and the whole thing seems, well, crazy.
I believe strongly in freedom and all that. I don't exactly believe everyone is equal, but I do believe that everybody should be free to do what they like, within reason. Obviously I don't think that people should kill for fun. But basically, activity that harms nobody cannot be immoral. And so, particularly with relationships and stuff, I think people shouldn't worry about it. I completely believe in equal rights for the LGBT community and all that, but I go beyond that. Polygamy, incest, whatever. If all parties are happy and consenting, it is nobody else's business.
Hmm, I believe in Capitalism, I'm not really into Socialism or left-wing stuff. Despite this, I enjoy laughing about people on the internet who seem to believe Socialism is akin to Communism. I support the Coalition we have in the UK right now... it's not a popular, perfect government but none of them are ever. And I like that different parties have to co-operate, makes it less about petty rivalries. However in general I'm pretty meh about politics, I'm more Conservative and Labour but kind of dislike both of them and just let it play out.
And finally I believe in England. I am a right little patriot, me. I have no real justification for this, I just can't help believing we're awesome. Even though most Englanders seem to hate being English. WTF.
