Ireland: picspam the second

Whew. Okay! So. These photos are actually all from the same general area -- on or around the Dingle Peninsula or the Ring of Kerry, all near Tralee, which was where we stayed. We were lucky and had two really beautiful days, so we just went all over.

Oh-so image heavy, don't say I didn't warn ya.

Ooh, e-smooches! :-D Thanks very much!

Some very lovely photos here.

Do you think you'll go back some day?

I'd love to -- I hope so! There were parts we didn't get to visit that I would love to see, and I'd definitely go back to the places we already went. Fingers crossed for one day!

(And your welcome for your belated e-smooching! I even had a little note to myself and everything. I am teh suck at remembering things, alas.)

Really, really gorgeous.

But...they're IRISH cows. This is point-worthy.

;-D

My sister and I are such suburban/city-girl dorks, we got so excited about all the cows and sheep when we first got there, and then even later in the trip, once in a while we'd be like, "Psst. Coooooooows!"

I was there once! The Ring of Kerry is so amazing and green and gorgeous, isn't it? I still really remember the beach we were at on the Atlantic the first night we were there.

Yay you and your awesome pictures and the trip and all! Glad you had fun (even if there were a lot of cows)

I liked the cows! Believe it or not, there are not so many in the wilds of NYC suburbs. ;) My mom and sister and I were definitely dorking out a little bit.

The Ring of Kerry area is amazing. I wish we'd been able to spend more time down in that area, it was just gorgeous everywhere we turned. How long ago were you there?

Ah, see, I grew up in Wisconsin and even though where I lived was plenty urban, cows were never far away...
Dork out all you want! When I was in Ireland we saw a 9 foot tall rubber chicken running down the highway in the middle of nowhere so...I get dorking about what you see on the side of the road.

Yeah, I really, really want to go back to the Ring of Kerry. Just breathtaking. I was there in 1998 but hopefully next summer I'll be back to hike from Dublin to Shannon.

Why can't we go live in a castle by the sea on a lovely island with cows, big sheep, fluffy dogs and hot Irishmen named O'Neill such pretty scenery?

Thanks for sharing, they're lovely!
