yay journal!!!
so I'm holding two unsteady jobs. I'm getting used to working at old capitol brew works and i don't think i suck at my job anymore. i do wish i could get more hours there though. and the newest job at Oasis-the falafel joint is really sweet. i cook some fallafel, kabobs, fries, pita chips. they have turkish coffee. they have some really good (vegan?) sweet potato bisque. i work with cool people. we always listen to good music. i do some dishes. its great. maybe i should tell both of my jobs that i plan on being out of town for a good portion of the summer.
ive gotten wasted ass drunk alot lately. its fun but also taxing. i feel that all my friends have been doing this also. we are not helping each other be responsible at all. school is about to start for everyone here so maybe things will cool off. or maybe i just need to cool off huh?
its so freaking cold here right now. the sign on the corner said -8 degrees the other night. brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
i signed up for one class so i wont get rusty. jay convinced me to sign up for Comparative governments. its a thursday night class. which is not great because there is the Leo Kottke concert at the Englert this thursday. it'll work out though. this class should be good because i bet i will learn good stuff. but the prof seems kinda overly US-centric and very capitalist. he said lotsa stuff about free trade and also at one point said how this has been "the American century" whatev, i'll put my two cents into the discusions.
