This reminds me a lot of my midnight showing experience. Especially with the "unwashed masses" title. The funk was strong in that theater, but not as bad as some cons I've been to in years past. Soap. Water. Use them!
Our group of four (two in their early 40s, two in their early 20s) had a group of teens partially in front of us, and since we were allowed into the theater about an hour prior to movie time, we were observers to the life of teens in the wild. We discovered this particular group's conversation consisted of the following words and phrases: Prom. Prom. Prom. Sex. Prom. Texting. Prom. Prom. Sex after prom. I almost had to restrain the twentysomethings from smacking some teens in the back of the head. I told them to only use that option once the movie started. ;)
